'Learning for a fuller life'

Accommodation comprises one large main building, housing 13 of the classes, the main hall, school offices, a clay room, a state of the art ICT suite, a well stocked, computerised library, a science and technology room and a music room. Remaining classes are in mobile classrooms close to the main building.
The school has over seventy iMac computers, including a number of iBook laptop machines, all connected to a school network via cable or wireless technology, for ease of working for the children and staff alike. All classes have computers and an interactive whiteboard and there is a dedicated ICT suite with LCD projector to aid learning.
The grounds of the school are extensive as we are situated outside the city. There are two large fields, one of which has a full size football pitch or running track, and another, which has an amphitheatre, adventure trail and plenty of space for outdoor games. There are four playgrounds on the site and numerous seating/quiet areas for the children to sit and chat at lunch time.
The school has a VLE ('Virtual Learning Environment') through which pupils (and parents) can communicate and access learning resources and useful documents.
The main aim of this website is to provide the parents and public with information about our school, giving dates and documents to download as well as celebrating in all the good work we do. It is a new website, so very much a 'work in progress', so please bear with us as we add all the necessary information.
Of course, the best way to find out about the school is to visit us and have a look around. Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you would like to see us 'in action'!
